“Nacimiento”

In the 1970s and ‘80s, Linda found visual expression through black and white photography. In 2000, while producing the book Southwest Style, she met several painters in and around Santa Fe, New Mexico, and began painting. Her mentor, Carol Anthony, taught her a special technique using oil pastels, blending and blurring the colors with her fingertips, creating depth and eerie light.

Linda believes art gives the inner world a face revealing a connection between the artist and how she perceives the world. For her, nature provides the perfect model. She looks for the place where opposite energies meet and balance. In that place of tension and harmony incredible creativity takes place.

Linda’s paintings are available for purchase. Simply contact her by email.
